~ Just 4 U Chrochet Wearables ~

It's time for another feature on an extraordinary Etsy shop :)

~ Just 4 U Crochet Wearables ~

Rosemarie is a very creative lady, and her talent in crochet is amazing!

"I learned how to crochet with the help of YouTube in August of last year. I'd always wanted to learn when I was younger, but didn't have much success with it. I'm a stay-at-home with 2 boys who are in school during the day and I needed something to do for me in order to keep me sane. I realized that I actually had a knack for crocheting and I love doing it. My goal was to be able to create what ever my heart desired without always using a pattern, this gives me creative freedom and I like that."

Here are some pieces that are perfect for the upcoming spring season:

You can check out Rosemarie's shop here:

Enjoy and be sure to check out Just 4 U Crochet Wearables for soft, fun accessories :)

Have a blessed day! ~Katie :)

Do you have a blog?

Attention all bloggers! I have come across a tool that will be amazingly helpful to your blog!

April Starr shared with us on a team at Etsy that she had a sort of "blog planner". I decided to check it out and I'm so glad I did! This blog planner is a life saver. Instead of scrambling around looking for those lost note books with various blog ideas in it, I now have a sheet that organizes everything on one simple page!

Here's the link where you can get your very own: http://www.theflourishingabode.com/2012/03/welcome-to-the-flourishing-abode.html

While you're there, go ahead and subscribe to her blog. There are such fantastic reads you'll be so glad you did. I totally enjoy reading her posts! They're always interesting, informative, and very down-to-earth. I love the Proverb under her heading, too.

Happy Blogging!

Update on Life :)

Wow, it's been forever since I've last posted. Sorry about that. These past coupe of weeks things have been non-stop CRAZINESS. I feel like things should be slowing down now that school will be out in two months...seems like it's speeding up?

One highlight of my busy life is going to watch some good old baseball :) My 18 year old brother plays for his school and has one or two games a week. They're usually about 3 hours away--but nobody really minds the drive, seeing him play is worth it.

The big annual writing contest is coming up in our area. *dum dum dum*...I think I'll enter again. Now I just have to find what the story should be about...I have an idea, but I don't want to give it away yet. I'll make sure to post the short story after it's submitted.

Guess what happend April 2nd? Robert, Jordan and I became...PARENTS!!!

Haha, Robert happend to find a baby squirrel--we are still trying to find out if it was abandoned or if it fell out of a nest in our garage--and after calling the vet and doing some research online, we found it it's only about 4 weeks old! His (yes, it's a boy) name is Oliver :) I will post some picture of him soon. Just this morning he opened one of his eyes, so that was really exciting!

Hope everything is going good with y'all. Have a great Wednesday :)

Introduction to "Cause of the Week"

Hello everyone, I hope you are having a fantastic Tuesday!

Today I am thrilled to announce a new weekly blog post that you'll be seeing at Life of a Homeschooled Teenager, Cause of the Week! Everyday I come across organizations that are helping people in many ways everyday; whether by feeding them, clothing them, sharing some smiles, providing drinking water, and much more! I personally am touched by their kindness and motivation. To share them weekly with you would be a joy!

Each week, a non-profit organization will be featured here. It will serve as an encouragement and as an inspiration to get out and share God's love with the world around us!

Have a blessed rest of the week!

~Katie :)
